Ceramic Thick Film Pressure Transducer- PIEZO RESISTIVE
EST3140 is kind of Ceramic Thick Film Pressure Transducer which uses monolithic pressure sensor module (ESS501I/V) made with ceramic cell ( ESS501 96% pure ceramic substrate), mounted in dedicated housing. It works following the piezoresistive principle, where the Wheatstone bridge is screen printed directly on one side of the ceramic diaphragm by means of thick film technology and signal conditioning electronics are added to generate 0.5…4.5 V ratiometric output or 4-20mA current signal.
Thanks to the ceramic’s excellent chemical stability, EST3140 can be directly installed on the casing or other accessories using a waterproof ring, without requiring additional protection. This design also allows the it to maintain high stability during temperature changes and overload, ensuring high linearity throughout the sensor’s entire range and minimizing pressure hysteresis effects.
